How many times have you brought home a paint chip or a sample pot, only to feel even more unsure about your colour choices?

Selecting the right paint colours for your home can feel overwhelming. Whether it’s finding a white that doesn’t lean too yellow or blue, picking the perfect grey with just the right undertone, or coordinating a full palette that works harmoniously throughout your space – it’s no easy task.

That’s where I come in. My goal is to take the stress and guesswork out of the process. With a Genki Colour Consultation, complete with photographic visuals, you’ll be able to preview your colours before committing. It’s a simple way to avoid costly mistakes and a few headaches along the way.

What's included

  • Up to 3 colour concepts, including photoshopped mockups of the front of your house to help you visualise each option.
  • A detailed paint schedule for your final chosen scheme—perfect for handing over to your painter or for your own reference.
  • A4 sample sheets of your selected colours, sent directly to you from Dulux (Australian addresses only).

After your consultation and once you’ve received your sample sheets, I strongly recommend purchasing small sample pots and testing the colours on your home. Be sure to view them at different times of day, as lighting can significantly affect how colours appear.

Please note, this is a colour consultation and suggestion service only. The final colour selection and application are the responsibility of you and your painter.

Package 1 – Front Door Colour

If you just want a fresh front door colour but can’t decide, or agree, on what will work with your house, then this is for you.
This package includes 2–3 colour options.

$110 (AUD)

Package 2 – Exterior (Colours Already Selected)

Walls, door, roof, gutters
Perfect if you’ve already chosen your colours but need help deciding where to place them, or if you’re having trouble visualising how they’ll look together.
This package includes up to 3 mockups using your pre-selected colours.

$275 (AUD)

Package 3 – Exterior (Full Colour Guidance)

Walls, door, roof, gutters
Ideal if you have inspiration images but aren’t sure which direction to take. I’ll create colour palettes that reflect your vision and work beautifully together.
This package includes 3 mockups with different paint palette options to choose from.

$550 (AUD)

Process

1. Get in Touch
Contact me, via the form below, to book your colour consultation.

2. Complete the Questionnaire
I’ll email you a short questionnaire—please fill it out and include photos of your home (real estate images work well) along with any inspiration images that reflect your style. An invoice will also be sent through at this time.

3. Send Through Your Details
Once I’ve received your completed questionnaire, photos and payment, I’ll be in touch to discuss timeframes. Please allow up to two weeks for turnaround.

4. Receive Your Colour Concepts
I’ll send you a personalised colour concepts based on the package you’ve selected.

5. Test Your Colours
I can arrange for A4 colour swatches of your chosen concept to be sent directly to you from Dulux. Please also purchase sample pots from your local paint supplier and test the colours on your home.
